Jon Reynolds, Jr. has had a wild start to the 2010 season, starting with a win and subsequent disqualification for a carb spacer issue in the Big 8 Series Spring Classic race at Rockford Speedway.  Jon finished fifth in the Rockford season opener after working his way back to the front following a late-race spin, and came in ninth at the track’s second regular season race of the year.

“It’s been a rocky start but we’re finishing races and working hard,” says Jon.  “This week we look to get the ball rolling with a top 3 finish.”

Jon and the X team are preparing for this Saturday’s event at the Rockford Speedway.  Jon and Gregg McKarns will be appearing on the Stone and Double T show on 104.9 WXRX on Thursday, May 6th at 3:30 pm.  Please tune in to listen or stream it live on the WXRX website.

The Limited Late Model got a complete overhaul last winter and will debut with some new body skins, some suspension changes, and freshening up the brake system and rear end.  Our 2010 powerplant is being put back together now at JAMR Racing Engines by Jerry Lemke and Jimmie Meyers and we’re very Xcited to see what they’ve come up with this winter for 2010.

The Super Late Model is getting a total overhaul including new frame and suspension designs for 2010, to take advantage of what we learned in our first year at Slinger in the SLM division.  Our 9:1 engine is also at JAMR with four of the smartest engine guys around trying to squeeze some more power out of her.  A new body and colors will complete the package that will get us wins in 2010.
